Tactile display - Bastian Rapp

A touch display is usually made of glass or plastic and is absolutely smooth. This is ideal if you can see well. But not for the visually impaired. Bastian Rapp from the University of Freiburg has developed a display especially for them that is not smooth at all and whose performance can be felt with the fingers.
