Locate autonomous vehicles - Alexander Schaefer

Driverless cars will soon offer greater safety and efficiency in traffic. But there is still a long way to go till we get there. A project by Freiburg University aims to improve the localization of vehicles - even under difficult conditions - and at the same time put an end to the need for vast maps and the transfer of massive quantities of data via the Internet while driving.
